Just one additional info that you might want to add: There is a 72 h rule in place, that is enforced if neighbors complain. Then your car might be towed, and this can be very expensive.

So be careful about leaving your car unattended for more then a couple of days, even if there is no street cleaning in the area. You might be better off to park your car in front of your own house where people know it and pay the 55 bucks then to be towed elsewhere.

Good morning. During my holliday I was in San Francisco. I rent a car in ALAMO O'Farell Street and perhaps I had a fine for parking violation (street cleaning). I'm not sure because I hadn't the ticket(citation) because I didn't see it and during I drove the car I saw some paper went out the windshield. Can you send me a message to say me if I had a fine and how I can pay it because I'm french and I don't know how to do it. The date will be 10/27/11 and the number of car 6MUX097 a Chevrolet HHR red color. Thank you very much. Best regards
