Please point your browser to http://www.sanfranciscostreetcleaning.com , in the middle of the page you will see a map. Please use your mouse to drag the marker on the map to a location of interest. You can also type in the address in the address bar above the map, to navigate closer to the address. Then please drop the marker at the PRECISE spot for which you have to see the schedule. It matters, since the schedule may be different for different sides of the street. And it is also easy to pick the wrong street name if you are parked on the corner. As you drop the marker, the window should pop up with the street cleaning times.
Parris (2012-May-1 09:00:33)My counsin's street cleaning sign changed. I've been subletting her home.. I need a street cleaning schedule from Sept. 16 2011.
Geoff Stafford (2012-May-2 08:04:52)Did you run late this morning on Market Street (Tuesday, 5/1)?
I headed down with all the cyclists at 8am and the bike lane was still soaking wet from street cleaning. Given that this is the main artery for cycling - not only may it be a safety issue, but it also makes for a far less pleasant ride (arriving at work, with a back covered in dirt on what should have been a dry morning commute). Too much of that would discourage the new or casual riders that we're trying to encourage riding rather than driving as part of our transit-first policy.
Thanks for listening,
Geoff
Hey Geoff!
I feel your pain, I am a cyclist myself. I think you should forward your comments to FMTA though, 311 is their phone number. This website is not related to city services. We just provide the street cleaning schedule for people's information.
Just got a ticket because of bad info on ur app. Pretty awesome. I'm on unemployment and can't afford this shit. The even #'ed side of parsons abutting fulton is signed thursday 9-11 AM not Wednesday. Jesus. Hope I can find a friend to feed me till my next installment- cause now I had to pay immediately or get booted and lose my car- the one thing I have left
Developer (2012-May-10 00:02:25)I am very sorry to hear that Sean. I do apologize for all the inconvenience this website caused you. I am sincerely trying my best to keep this info up to date. Unfortunately the city authorities do not cooperate. The data they provide is outdated. The only way I get info is from people who report discrepancies. I am very sorry this website caused you pain, but its better to have this service, that has about 5% error data, then have no service at all.
Mike (2012-May-12 00:38:20)Hello, I'm wondering if you have a record of changes to sweeping schedules? It appears that the schedule for my street has changed. It use to be: one side of the street was every 1st and 3rd week of the month, while the other was the 2nd and 4th...now both are the 2nd and 4th. I'm wondering how I can find out when that change was made.
Thanks for your help!
Unfortunately we do not have that information. Which address are you at?
Mike (2012-May-16 10:48:52)700 block of 46th Ave. Thanks!
Jon Singer (2012-May-23 02:27:32)Hello,
We are evaluating options for an implementation of the car2go program in San Francisco. I am trying to understand the street sweeping schedules and how often streets are swept. We would like to create a heat map that shows how frequently each street is swept. Is a way to get a map like this, or find the data that displays the streets that are swept and their frequency?
Thank you,
Jon Singer
