Hi Trying to find a street cleaning schedule for San Francisco.
With your web app, I place the pin on a street and you give me a street cleaning time. But in reality the time is different for both sides of the street. I see that if I very carefully place the pin over the curb I can find each side's time. So I can see where someone could very easily obtain the wrong information. Maybe you could detect that the pin is on the street and not the curb and provide the details for both sides of the street. Or actually, it would be helpful to provide the details as you do now but then in parenthesis also provide the details for the opposite side of the street. Because in reality, if either side of the street is being cleaned, you are not going to find an open parking spot.Developer (2012-Apr-8 02:02:06)
Andre, you can easily use the map page to look up the schedule in SF.
If you need the full database for another project, we can definitely provide you with an api. Shoot an email to the address at the bottom of this page and we can rule out the terms.
Doug, thank you for your idea. I have thought about the way to better present the data and have come to realize that the way it works now is the easiest way to use. If you provide the info for both sides of the street, then it is easy to mess up on which side you are on, and look at the wrong time, resulting in a ticket. If you parked at an intersection - then it is even more complicated. Because each block of each street on each side can have different schedules. That's why I make user to drop the marker precisely to the point where they park to obtain the street cleaning schedule information.Jinsoo (2012-Apr-18 23:04:16)

Hello. Are you legally allowed to park on a street once the cleaner has come through even if it's still within the time frame marked on the signs? Or can tickets still be issued?merci (2012-Apr-23 21:19:37)
Who runs this website? Is it the city? DPT? SFMTA?
Jinsoo, iPhone app has been updated. The current version is v1.2 and should be free of the problem you have been experiencing.Developer (2012-Apr-23 23:36:32)
technically it is still a violation of parking to be parked during the street cleaning time, even though the cleaning vehicle is already done cleaning. If the meter maid comes, you can get a ticket. However, from my experience, usually the tickets are issued once, before the truck comes. Meter maids rarely revisit the same area twice during the street cleaning times.
